Important information
DIVING IN SPAIN
Preconditions
To participate in diving activities in Spain divers not only need a valid diving license, but also need to fulfill the following legal conditions:
Valid medical certificate
To participate in diving activities for certified divers, it should be no older than 2 years.
To participate in the dive training, it should be no older than 1 year.
Insurance
All divers must provide evidence of insurance, which covers medical expenses resulting from diving accidents. (Hyperbaric treatment, recovery etc).
If you are not in possession of such a policy, you can contract a Daily, weekly, monthly or annual insurance with us.
Requirements for diving equipment
The Spanish law dictates that only air tanks which are pressure tested every 3 years and with an additional annual visual inspection are allowed to be filled.
Regulators must be equipped with an alternate air source.
