Can't decide on just one specialty? The SSI Advanced Open Water Diver program is the best way to improve your skills and discover new forms of diving without having to complete an entire specialty course immediately. During this program, you will try 5 dives from different specialties to gain confidence and experience underwater.

It is the perfect option for divers who want to continue learning in a practical and fun way immediately after their Open Water course.

Course Structure: Following official SSI standards, you will complete 5 adventure dives including two mandatory areas and three of your choice:

• Deep Diving (Mandatory): Experience the sensations of going deeper in a controlled and safe manner.

• Navigation (Mandatory): Master your sense of orientation by learning to use a compass and natural references.

• 3 Elective Dives: You decide your path! You can choose, for example, from exciting options such as:

  • Night Diving: Experience the magic of marine life that only appears after sunset.

  • Dry Suit: Learn how to stay warm and dry to dive all year round on the Costa Brava.

  • Perfect Buoyancy: Fine-tune your trim in the water and air consumption control.

  • Nitrox or Wreck Diving: Increase your bottom time or explore historic wrecks.

Course Details:

• Prerequisites: Open Water Diver certification.

• Structure: Interactive digital theory, review session with your instructor, and 5 open water dives.

• Certification: Upon completion, you will receive your official SSI digital certification directly in the MySSI App.

💡 Pro Tip: If you later decide to take the full course for any of these specialties, the dive you do in this program will count toward your final certification!
