SSI - Deep Diving

DEEP DIVING: EXPLORE NEW HORIZONS

Many exciting dive sites are located in deeper waters. Without proper training, this type of diving carries risks, but the SSI Deep Diving program will provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to dive to depths of up to 40 metres safely and responsibly.

You will learn to plan dives that require more precise air management and understand the effects of pressure on your body, as well as nitrogen narcosis.

What will you learn?

  • Advanced Planning: Managing air consumption and no-decompression limits at depth.

  • Physiology: Understanding and recognizing the effects of nitrogen narcosis.

  • Safety: Descent techniques, safety stops, and deep emergency procedures.

  • Equipment: Using dive computers for deep profiles and specialized gear.

Course Details:

  • Minimum age: 15 years old.

  • Prerequisites: Open Water Diver certification.

  • Structure: Online theory, in-person review with the instructor, and 3 open water dives.

  • Certification: Upon completion, you will receive your official SSI digital certification directly in the MySSI App.
