DIVEMASTER: YOUR START AS AN SSI PROFESSIONAL
The Divemaster rating is SSI’s first professional rank and marks the definitive step toward a career in the diving world. This certification turns you into a diving ambassador, capable of leading certified divers, assisting instructors in student training, and teaching specific ecology programs.
To achieve this professional status, you must complete the Dive Guide program and the Science of Diving specialty. As a Divemaster, you will gain expert-level knowledge of diving theory.

Science of Diving: In-depth knowledge of physics, physiology, decompression theory, the aquatic environment, and equipment.
