ENRICHED AIR NITROX: MORE TIME, MORE SAFETY

The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox program allows you to dive longer and get back into the water sooner. By increasing the oxygen percentage and reducing nitrogen in your tank, your body absorbs less nitrogen, allowing you to extend your no-decompression limits and significantly reduce post-dive fatigue.

It is an essential tool for dive trips or days with multiple dives. Additionally, it can easily be combined with your Open Water Diver course to improve your safety from day one.

What will you learn?

  • Planning: How to plan dives using enriched air mixtures up to 40% oxygen.

  • Safety: How to use an oxygen analyzer to verify your tank's content.

  • Equipment: Requirements and precautions for diving with Nitrox.

  • Exposure Management: How to calculate depth and time limits based on the gas mixture.

Course Details:

  • Minimum age: 10 years old.

  • Prerequisites: Open Water Diver certification (or currently enrolled).

  • Structure: Online theory, personalized in-person review with the instructor to solve doubts, and gas analysis session.

  • Our Added Value: Although an open water dive is not a mandatory SSI requirement for this certification, we include it in our price because we believe the best way to learn is by applying your knowledge underwater.
